Expected to see something happen in the first week. Nothing did, and I nearly left a bad review. Then I reread the instructions — 150 miles minimum for calibration. I'd barely done 80. Got quoted $650 for a professional ECU remap on my ute. Decided to try SynGas first at a fraction of the price. Genuinely couldn't believe it but my fuel economy improved by what feels like a similar margin. Cancelled the remap booking. If it ever stops working I'll rethink, but right now I'm keeping my money.

I drive a diesel Peugeot 308, mostly short trips around the city. Wasn't sure it'd work on a European make but it connected fine. Fuel economy improvement is modest on short runs — probably better suited to highway drivers — but over a month it adds up. Four stars because I think the gains are more obvious on longer distances.

Two tanks in and already down from 10.1L to 8.7L per 100km on my Hilux. No complaints.

Didn't notice any meaningful difference over two months on my 2009 Vauxhall Astra with 130,000 miles on it. The car probably needs a service — so I can't say for certain whether the issue is the device or the car. Gave it two stars because I can't fairly blame the product, but I also can't give it five when I saw nothing. Might try again after I get the injectors cleaned.

I'm retired and drive a lot — trips up to Cairns and back regularly, plus daily errands. Fuel cost is a real concern on a fixed income. Put it in my Land Cruiser four weeks ago. First long trip to Cairns used noticeably less fuel than the same run in January. I've been keeping a logbook and I'm down roughly 12% on consumption. Worth every cent.

Had a question about compatibility with my husband's older BMW diesel before buying. Emailed support and got a reply within a few hours. They confirmed it would work and explained what to expect during calibration. Bought it, it worked. Good product, good service.

Bought this as a gift for my dad who complains constantly about petrol prices. He's 67 and not great with technology — but even he managed to plug it in himself. He called me three weeks later saying his tank was lasting longer. That's the best endorsement I could ask for.

I unplugged it after two weeks because I thought it wasn't working. Then I read other reviews and realised I should've left it in continuously through the calibration period. Put it back in and still waiting to see if results improve. Updating this once I've given it a fair run.

I'd already tried two cheap OBD2 fuel savers from AliExpress. Both did nothing — just sat there with a blinking LED. The difference with SynGas is that you can actually feel the engine running differently after calibration — smoother throttle response, less hunting at low speeds. Tracked my fuel use for a month: 14% improvement on my diesel 4WD. The eBay ones didn't shift the needle 1%. Worth every cent of the price difference.

Ordered on a Tuesday, arrived Thursday. Packaged properly, no damage. Plugged in straight away.

Running the air con more in summer definitely affects fuel economy regardless of the device — worth keeping that in mind when comparing tanks. That said, I'm still using less than I was this time last year without it. Solid four stars.

Three weeks, no change at all. Petrol Honda Civic, 2017, all city driving. I know the instructions say highway driving shows better results, but that wasn't made clear before I bought. If you're mainly a city driver, be aware your results may vary significantly from what's advertised.

Two months in. The improvement has stayed consistent — I haven't seen it drop off like I worried it might. Still not quite the 55% figure in the marketing (more like 12–15% for me on mixed driving), but 12% off a monthly fuel bill is real money. Genuinely useful product.

If you're over 60, drive regularly and keep wondering why the bowser keeps hitting harder than it used to — just give this a go. The 30-day refund means the worst case is you send it back and waste a bit of time. Best case is what happened to me: $40 a month back in my pocket. Easy decision in hindsight.
